This three hour presentation will provide you with sound principles and concepts to help you and others with conflict management in your workplace. A police environment is subject to disruption and conflict; Therefore, having tools to move individuals toward reconciliation is an asset.
Our presenter, Melanie Gerhardt, is currently the Informal Conflict Management Intern with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in K Division (Alberta). Melanie has always had a passion for helping people, and it was a first-hand experience leading her own team that led to her exploration of interest-based communication and ultimately further studies in conflict management. Melanie has obtained a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from Mount Royal University.
